Do I need to check local parking restrictions?

When using a char.gy charge point, it is important to ensure you are following any parking restrictions listed above the charge point. Char.gy can accept no responsibility for penalties received for incorrectly parking whilst using our charge points.

You can find parking restrictions displayed locally (usually attached to the lamppost our charger is connected to, or on a nearby post) and also on the Charge point details page on the browser and the char.gy app (see examples below).

Please do not rely solely on the parking restrictions displayed on the charge point page as they may not accurately reflect the current restrictions. Please double check local signage and contact the Local Authority with any parking queries.

If you still require support then please contact us by emailing support@char.gy or calling us on 0800 086 9606.
